Prefabricated wooden house
The Wooden Houses are the most widespread construction system in the countries of Northern Europe and are also spreading in our country, especially in the North (thanks to the influence of our German and Austrian neighbors). A trend destined to grow, thanks to the unique qualities of wood, such as strong thermal insulation and resistance, combined with the economic convenience that today exceeds that of concrete or concrete houses. In a nutshell, this is the reason for the success of the Wooden Houses: combining the great qualities of wood with low cost and energy saving.

Our wood construction system
In addition to our production of wooden load-bearing structures, we can offer you a wide choice of materials to cover the walls, the floor and the roof structure. The technologies we use allow us to produce wooden frame structures in accordance with our client's personal project.
Our team of highly qualified professionals made up of engineers, technicians and designers is able to transform your 'traditional' project into a completely 'biocompatible' project, achievable with our wooden construction system.more information
The wooden houses have a strong thermal and acoustic insulation
Thermal insulation is better than concrete or concrete constructions: a 10 cm thick wooden wall insulates as much as an 80 cm concrete wall. The use of particular processes then allows to create a surface membrane that protects the wooden house from infiltration and humidity. Furthermore, a wooden house can be a real oasis of peace: wood has the characteristic of absorbing sounds without the need to use other materials (wooden houses can achieve the same protection against airborne noise as masonry buildings, but with smaller thicknesses and mass).
The wooden houses last a long time
The wooden structures have an unmatched longevity. Just think in the houses of our historic centers how many wooden beams and floors, made even in the Middle Ages, remain 100% functional today. The wooden houses are sold with an indication of a minimum duration of eighty years, like traditional ones, but they can greatly exceed them if maintenance is carried out periodically.Affordability
Costs & Prices
Wooden houses cost less than concrete houses. When building the lightness of the wood allows you to reduce the expense on the foundations (because the weight to be supported is less). The ease of processing then allows shorter realization times: panels and beams are made in a short time even on site. When you go to live in them you can enjoy enormous energy savings: the wooden houses save on gas bills in winter and on electricity bills in summer (up to 50%!).
Wooden houses are fireproof
Wood is a combustible material. So why do wooden houses have better fire resistance than concrete ones? Simple, because the wood burns slowly, chars from the outside inwards and forms a charred layer on the surface that protects the inside of the beam. In the event of a serious fire, the breakage of the beams that form the structure occurs gradually (and there is the possibility of intervening before the collapses!). At a certain temperature, however, iron and concrete suddenly collapse.Sustainable building
Respect for the environment
Due to their low environmental impact, Wooden Houses enjoy state incentives for the purchase of energy-efficient properties. Consumption for heating and air conditioning decreases, reducing the use of gas and electricity. The wood used for the construction is recyclable and comes from European or North American forests where controlled reforestation is applied. Its processing, in the production of beams and panels and in the installation, does not produce emissions or dust. When it becomes unusable it is burned in the waste-to-energy boilers.
Erdbebensicherheit
The wooden houses are anti-seismic
The Sofie project, funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento and completed in 2007 by the CNR, further demonstrated that wooden houses are earthquake-proof and represent the best choice in areas subject to earthquakes. The research project led to the construction of the prototype of a seven-story wooden house for almost 24 meters high that withstood a seismic test that simulated a violent earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale.
